  After Effects: For some of the dance scenes I used this tutorial to make a similar effect but on a video instead to make it look a bit more sophisticated than the original video, and I am really pleased with how it turned out. For the dance scenes, I wanted to recreate a look that was similar to a VHS tape, so it looked like old footage. I used this video to create this, however when I put an effect near the end of the video onto the dance, it looked weird and unnatural so I deviated from some aspects of the video and put what felt right for the music video.

  Rough Edit: Feedback After making my rough edit for 'Best Part of Me', I asked some people to answer some questions regarding the music video that I can refer to when making my final edit. The questions asked were: 1. What was your impression of the music video? 2. Was the music video in-keeping with your expectations for a music video of this genre?  3. What were the strengths or what most 'hit the target' for creating a music video in this genre? 4. What were the weaker elements that you suggest changing or re-looking at?  5. What words would you use to describe the mood and tone of this music video?  6. Any overall comments on the music video?
