For some of the dance scenes I used this tutorial to make a similar effect but on a video instead to make it look a bit more sophisticated than the original video, and I am really pleased with how it turned out.



For the dance scenes, I wanted to recreate a look that was similar to a VHS tape, so it looked like old footage. I used this video to create this, however when I put an effect near the end of the video onto the dance, it looked weird and unnatural so I deviated from some aspects of the video and put what felt right for the music video.

  Creative Critical Reflection: The song "Best Part of Me" is not clearly defined as one genre such as 'pop', but rather falls into a mixture, including indie, R&B soul, and pop.
